Crossbearer's Log
Today, I walked from Sutter Creek, past Jackson heading north east on Highway 88, took a shortcut down Irishtown Road for two miles, arriving and finishing the day in Pine Grove, California. Total time on the road for the day was approximately five and a half hours.
Walking was slow today due to the lack of shoulders on the road.
The five mile walk from Sutter Creek to Jackson went quickly seeing that it was mostly downhill. Once I turned onto Highway 88, however, the climbing began. It looks like I will be climbing up hills for the next seven to eight days of this walk.Today's Coordinates:
