I spent my morning parked in the Douglas High School lot, as school wasn't in session. I was thrilled about getting to workout on a track, with the soft surface. To my dismay, the track was locked -- this made me upset, probably to an irrational extent. So I went to Big 5, bought a soccer ball, and ran some ball work drills, with the beautiful, snow-capped Sierra Nevada's in the background.

Started at 8:10 A.M. from Douglas High School in Minden, Nevada. Walked 12.1 miles ended at the motel where we are staying at 12:35 P.M. It was slightly windy and cold for the first two miles, so I had to wear a coat. The next seven miles were on level surfaces before I had to climb for the tenth and eleven miles.
